Amalia De Simone, an award-winning investigative video reporter for RAI 3 (Mi manda Rai 3 and Il fattore umano), also contributes to The Post Internazionale and Reuters after having worked for ten years for Corriere della Sera and as a columnist for Corriere del Mezzogiorno. In 2017 she was nominated Cavaliere al Merito of the Italian Republic by President Sergio Mattarella "for her courageous commitment to denounce criminal activities through complex journalistic investigations".
She is co-author of Novantadue. L'anno che cambiò l'Italia (2012), DEM. Dizionario enciclopedico sulle mafie (2013) and L'Italia dei veleni (2013). Her latest book is MafiEuropa (2020).
