Mario Salomone is the editor of the Italian monthly Eco - L'Educazione Sostenibile and of the science weekly Culture della Sostenibilità. He is also a founding member of the International Environmental Communication Association, a member of the UNESCO Italy committee of the Decennio delle Nazioni Unite per l’Educazione allo Sviluppo Sostenibile and secretary general of the World Environmental Education Congress. He is the author of a number of academic articles and essays and also of the novel Messaggi dal futuro (1998).
