Pascal Doucet-Bon has been Deputy Director of news at France Télévisions in charge of ethics, transparency and editorial strategy since 2018, and he is a journalist for 30 years, successively for photo agencies, a local newspaper, several radio stations and France Television as a reporter, crime correspondent, foreign affairs correspondent, main news bulletin editor in chief and special editions editor in chief. Pascal is deeply convinced that traditional news media will win the battle for confidence in being more humble, transparent and self resilient. In a certain way, attacks, even if the most of them are unfair, are an opportunity for the whole sector to do better. He is also convinced that public service media has a special role to play in the war against disinformation, as a common treasure at the service of democracy.
