Monika Garbačiauskaitė-Budrienė was appointed the Chief Executive Officer of Lithuanian National Radio and Television (LRT) in April 2018 and since then has been successfully reforming and modernizing the public broadcaster.
Garbačiauskaitė-Budrienė is an experienced journalist who was editor-in-chief and a columnist of Lithuania's biggest news website DELFI between 2000-2017. Previously she worked as a business news reporter and a reporter for Radio Free Europe. She is also a guest speaker in journalism and communication studies and various conferences. Garbačiauskaitė-Budrienė holds a degree in Journalism and a Masters in International Communication from Vilnius University.
