Gustav Hofer
Gustav Hofer was born in 1976 in Sarnthein (Southtyrol, Italy). After his studies in Communication Science at the University of Vienna and Cinema at Middlesex University in London, he moved to Rome. He works as a freelance journalist and independent filmmaker. He works for the French-German broadcaster Arte, Deutsche Welle and NZZFORMAT as correspondent and author from Italy. Together with his partner Luca Ragazzi he has directed Suddenly last winter (Special Mention at the Berlinale 2008), Italy: love it or leave it (2011), What is left? (2014) and Dicktartorship (2019).
