Ariel Zirulnick

audience and product consultant

Ariel Zirulnick is an audience and product consultant who helps newsrooms do journalism with and for their communities and build systems and editorial products that make that work sustainable. She teaches and coaches with the News Product Alliance’s News Product Management Certificate program and is a member of LION Publishers' executive board. Ariel was previously the director of news experimentation at LAist, the fund director at the Membership Puzzle Project, and the director of Miami's The New Tropic. She’s an alumna of the CUNY Executive Program in News Innovation and Leadership.
