Yaroslav Ustich is Marketing Director of Gwara Media, a local media outlet that received the 2023 Zabel Human Rights Award. Based in Kharkiv, Ukraine, 30 kilometers from the Russian border and near the frontline, Yaroslav leads a team of marketing who work to achieve traffic for articles and news and leads commercial and membership streams during wartime. Gwara Media is the only English-language editorial team in the region, offering vital coverage for local and international audiences. Yaroslav has a bachelor's degree in advertising and PR and is a member of INMA.
