Mariia Leonova
Mariia Leonova spent 5 years working at Ukrainian independent media Hromadske, working as a news editor, head of social media, brand manager and finally Chief Marketing Officer. She joined The Fix less than a month before the war, after which Mariia transitioned to the role of fundraising manager for 13 large independent Ukrainian media, helping cover both emergency and short-term funding gaps. She has also been supporting media in sustainability issues, from crypto-based membership models to coordinating the launch of a joint sales house.
