Mariia Leonova is a media manager and international management consultant at Jnomics Media. Originally from Ukraine, Mariia works with regional and national outlets in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE), supporting media organizations with audience growth strategies, sustainable business models, and efficient organizational processes. With primary expertise in marketing and business development, she lectures at the Stockholm School of Economics, Deutsche Welle Akademie, FOJO Institute, Internews, and other educational institutions. Advocating for women's leadership and equality, Mariia founded the educational program She Media School for women leaders in Ukraine with support from the United Nations. In 2022, she co-founded and now leads a Ukrainian creative agency, The Tellers, which aims to spotlight socially significant initiatives in the region.
