Teresa Paoli, journalist and director, has been a correspondent for PresaDiretta, Riccardo Iacona's program on Rai3, since 2017.
She made her debut with the documentary 'Genova Senza Risposte' (Genoa Without Answers), covering the tragic events of the G8 summit in Genoa, distributed in theaters.
She won the Fulbright scholarship, allowing her to study in Los Angeles, and directed '100PerCent,' which competed at the Torino Film Festival.
She received the Ilaria Alpi DOC 2011 Award for the documentary 'Di Tessuti e di altre storie' (Of Fabrics and Other Stories). She was selected for the Dig Awards with the project 'Chinese or Italian,' later produced by the Franco-German TV channel Arte.
She has authored various environmental investigations related to energy, waste, and contamination.
In 2023, with the PresaDiretta investigation 'Plastica Connection,' she won the international award Prix Italia and the special sustainability award Ifad-Copeam. 'Plastica Connection' also received a special mention at the Asia and Pacific ABU Prizes 2023 in the TV ABU Perspective Award category.
Together with Daniela Cipolloni and Paola Vecchia, she wrote Mal di Plastica, published by Edizioni Dedalo 2023.
