Stella Levantesi is an Italian climate journalist, photographer and author. She is the author of I bugiardi del clima, a book investigating climate change denial history and tactics, published in Italy with Laterza Editori. She has an MA from New York University’s Journalism Institute. Her work has been published in The Guardian, The New Republic, Wired, DeSmog, Nature Italy, Mint India, Voxeurop and others.

Stella is the author of Gaslit, a regular column on DeSmog that seeks to navigate society’s dysfunctional relationship with fossil fuel disinformation. Her main areas of expertise are climate change, climate change delay and denial, climate litigation, obstruction tactics to climate action and other climate issues. She is a TEDx speaker; her TED Talk on climate change denial is entitled The dominance illusion: chi mente sul clima e perché.
