Since 2019, Sarah Caudiero has been a grassroots unionist for Si Cobas. Specifically, in the textile district of Prato, the largest in Italy, she has been actively involved in organizing struggles and strikes for workers, especially those of foreign origin.
She founded the "8X5" campaign against super-exploitation in the fashion supply chain. Her union activities, the extended strikes, gate protests, and numerous successful disputes have subjected her to numerous threats, assaults, as well as legal actions and expulsion orders.
