Roz Warren is a journalist, editor, and consultant who works across digital news, product, and strategy. She is currently the Audience Editor for Reuters. Between 2021-2022 she was also on The Executive Program in News Innovation and Leadership at the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism.
Roz is passionate about making the news engaging and accessible to audiences. As a consultant, she works with newsrooms across Asia, South America, and Africa to develop their business and digital strategies. For her expertise in this space, she gave evidence to Lords in Parliament for an inquiry into the ‘future of journalism’ in 2020.
Prior to this she worked as a journalist, producing stories, investigations, and interactive projects for the Guardian, CNN, New York Times, Vox, the BBC, and more. She also previously worked as a journalist for BuzzFeed News. For her journalism, she was selected as a Ochberg Fellow at Columbia University Journalism School, won a European Union Migration Media award, and was shortlisted for a British Journalism Award and an Orwell prize. Forbes selected her as '30 Under 30' in media in Europe in 2017.
