Radio3 Scienza

Marco Motta is an Italian science journalist, known for his role as curator and host of the daily program Radio3 Scienzaon Radio3 RAI, a position he has held since 2004.

His professional career extends beyond radio: he has collaborated with various publications, including Le Scienze (the Italian edition of Scientific American) and Pagina99, writing articles on science, technology, environment, and innovation.

In addition to journalism, he is actively involved in science communication, moderating conferences at various festivals, such as the Genoa Science Festival and the National Geographic Festival of Science in Rome. Since 2010, he has been teaching radio language and science communication at the Master's program in Science Journalism at La Sapienza University of Rome.

Throughout his career, he has received significant recognition, including the Science Writer Fellowship from the Armenise-Harvard Foundation at Harvard Medical School in Boston (June 2013) and the Piero Piazzano Journalism Award for the dissemination of scientific and environmental topics (November 2015).
