Julieth González Therán is a 27-year-old sports journalist with over 7 years of experience covering primarily football. Julieth was born in Colombia and is currently based in Berlin for Deutsche Welle as a sports analyst, sports correspondent for ESPN, and voice-over artist. She is the author of MOVING, published in 2018 about women’s role in sports, her experience on the harassment issue at the World Cup in Russia 2018, among other topics. Julieth is a strong advocate of women’s rights in sports and is personally active in sports.
