Having been appointed as Head of International News in 2014, Jamie Wilson leads the Guardian’s international desk, overseeing and communicating with a network of around 25 foreign correspondents to decide what news of the day to cover from across the globe. Jamie joined the Guardian as a trainee in 1995, and worked variously as a home news reporter, foreign correspondent (including stints in Iraq and Washington), Assistant National Editor, Deputy Foreign Editor, and News Editor.
