Isabella Barroso Oliveira is Program Manager for the Latin America region at Meedan. She's expanding regional partners network, developing impact strategies and managing relationships with human rights institutions, regional media, and civil society. Isabella is a journalist, specialist in digital products with a post-grad degree in Interaction Design and experience as senior product consultant at ThoughtWorks. She defines herself as a militant of a more accessible and intersectional feminist internet. At Meedan she is a member of a global team that creates collaborative solutions to combat misinformation and cultivates the intersection between society, journalism, and technology. She has recently created a workshop to show journalists how to better work collaboratively and remotely.
