Francesca Cavallo is the co-author of the New York Times bestselling Good Night Stories for Rebel Girls series, which sold over 8 million copies worldwide and was translated into 49 languages. An award-winning indie author and podcaster who built (and continues to build) her career outside the traditional publishing world, Cavallo has pioneered crowdfunding and self-publishing techniques that have been studied internationally. In 2020, she published and released the picture book Doctor Li and the Crown-wearing Virus for free, which was translated into 38 languages and became the most-read children's book during the coronavirus pandemic. Cavallo's latest book is the first anthology of original fairytales reframing masculinity, and it's called Stellar Stories for Boys of the Future.
Cavallo is a public speaker advocating for gender equality and minorities' rights. She spoke at the Massachusetts Conference for Women in Boston, the Cusp Conference in Chicago, the Women in Tech Conference in Warsaw, the Feminno Conference in Yerevan, the Novatore Summit in Riga, the State of Europe Conference in Brussels, and many more.
