Award-winning novelist Donia Kamal is a TV producer who produced more than 50 documentaries and worked for International TV networks like Al Jazeera, Al Hurra and others. Donia Kamal studied English literature and humanities in Cairo, wrote two novels in the past 8 years, out of which the second Cigarette Number Seven won several awards and was translated and featured by the American University in Cairo. Spending most of her career in newsrooms and being a storyteller, Vice Arabia featured her story on workplace sexual harassment which caused controversy and for which she received threats of lawsuits. She currently lives between Egypt and the UAE.
