Daniel Drepper

Correct!v

Daniel Drepper is a Senior Reporter at Correct!v, the first nonprofit investigative newsroom in the German-speaking world.

Until May 2014, Daniel was a Fellow at the Stabile Center for Investigative Journalism and a Scholar at the Brown Institute for Media Innovation at Columbia University in New York City. Between 2010 and 2013, Daniel worked in the research department of Funke-Mediengruppe where he won the “Wächterpreis” award and was named journalist of the year in the Newcomer category.

Daniel has worked as a freelance journalist for Deutschlandfunk, WDR, Zeit-Online and FAZ, among others. He also launched the research platform fussballdoping.de for the WAZ-Group, which brought him a nomination for the Grimme-Online-Award. Daniel has a degree in journalism and wrote his thesis about the German Freedom of Information Act.
