Zakaria Mohamed Ali is a Somalian photo-reporter. He has lived in exile in Italy since 2008. He was forced to flee Somalia in 2007 following violence and death threats. He arrived in Italy via the Mediterranean island of Lampedusa.
He is a member of the Archivio Memorie Migranti, an Italian association that brings together authors, researchers, film directors and migrants in the creation of a new way of communicating, participative and interactive, so that a trace of migration processes is left intact.
