Wafaa Albadry
Wafaa Albadry is a TV and digital journalist and author based in Berlin, Germany. From 2008 to 2015 she reported from Cairo Egypt for several local and international media outlets, where she got her first degree in Mass communication and journalism. She then moved to Berlin as a Fellow at the International College of Journalism at the Free University of Berlin (Freie Universität Berlin) to continue her journalism journey from there. Her work and contributions have appeared in several international media outlets including Deutsche Welle, BBC, Vice Arabia, and others. Besides news, she focuses on women's rights issues, politics, and culture. She is a Hostwriter ambassador and co-author of Unbias the news: Why Diversity matters for Journalism.
