Vincenzo Schettini is a physicist, a musician, a popular influencer professor, and a bestselling author.
In the early 2000s, he graduated in violin and music education before earning a degree in physics. The two facets of his personality, the artistic and the scientific, merged under the idea of transforming physics from a mere concept into a genuine form of entertainment, mirroring the same effect that music has on stage. For years, he has directed a successful gospel group called Wanted Chorus and teaches physics in high schools.
Through the social media channels of "La Fisica Che Ci Piace," which now boast millions of followers, he makes his subject accessible to everyone by enriching lessons with a personal and engaging touch.
He collaborates with the Italian Teacher Programme at CERN for teacher training.
His first book, the bestseller "La fisica che ci piace," was the publishing phenomenon of 2022 and won the Elsa Morante Ragazzi Esperienze 2023 literary award. Just one year later, he published his second book, 'Ci vuole un fisico bestiale' (Mondadori Electa, 2023), a collection of anecdotes about the most popular and brilliant scientists and physicists in history.
