Vincent Ryan is the global training manager and EMEA partnership manager at the Google News Lab, a team focused on helping journalists to find, verify and tell news stories. He is a former journalist working on the business desk at The Sunday Times and the Irish Examiner. Prior to joining Google he was a visiting lecturer at City, University of London. While at City University he was part of a research team who received funding from the Digital News Initiative. He has a BA in History and French from NUI Galway and a Masters in Journalism from the University of Limerick.
