Stefano Mele
Stefano Mele is a lawyer specialised in Technology Law, Privacy, Data Security and Intelligence. He works for the Carnelutti Law Firm in Milan. He holds a PhD in Law from the University of Foggia and is a visiting lecturer in the Department of Legal Informatics of the University of Milan.
He is a founding partner of the Moire Consulting Group and president of the Cyber-Security Working Group of the American Chamber of Commerce in Italy. He is also research director at the Centro Militare di Studi Strategici and coordinator of the InfoWarfare and Emerging Technologies Observatory at the Istituto Italiano di Studi Strategici Niccolò Machiavelli.
He was chosen by NATO in 2014 as one of the Key Opinion Leaders for Cyberspace Security. Also in 2014, Forbes listed him as one of the top 20 Cyber Policy experts worldwide to follow on the web. He teaches at a variety of NATO and Italian MoD research and training institutions and is the author of numerous articles and papers on the topics of cyber-security, cyber-intelligence, cyber-terrorism and ecyber-warfare.
