Sharon Johnson is the Executive Director of Bellwethers Group, an organisation dedicated to expanding leadership networks and building new norms to establish a flourishing green economy. She is an international expert in strategic communications, stakeholder engagement and advocacy strategies and has shaped policies and actions at the nexus of climate change and human development. Sharon has worked across business, finance, government and civil society and over a career spanning nearly three decades, has built world-leading brands, as well as the personal reputations of some of the most respected global leaders in modern history. A native South African, Sharon’s earliest work involved building media and technology brands in Africa, Asia Pacific, the UK and Europe.
