Roberta Carlini is a freelance journalist specialising in economic and social issues. She writes for l’Espresso, Vanity Fair, Micromega, D-La Repubblica delle donne, National Geographic and La Rocca di Assisi. She was deputy editor of the Italian daily Il Manifesto from 1998 to 2003.
