
Rania Wazir is a data scientist, coordinator of Data4Good, a Vienna-based Data Science Group, for which she deals with the "democratization" of artificial intelligence, promoting its use among public bodies and NGOs. She has a Ph.D. in Mathematics from Brown University and as a teacher and researcher she has collaborated with various university institutes in Austria, Italy and the United States. She carried out social media monitoring activities with a focus on hate speech in collaboration with Amnesty International Italy, wahlbeobachtung.org (Austria) and netzpolitik.org (Germany).
