Peter Schwartzstein
Peter Schwartzstein is an Athens-based independent environmental journalist and consultant, who covers water, food security, and conflict-climate issues across the Middle East and Africa. He has reported from more than 30 countries – mostly for National Geographic, and occasionally other US and UK magazines. He is the journalist-in-residence at the Center for Climate and Security, a Global fellow in the Wilson Center's Environmental Change and Security Program, and a TED fellow. In addition to journalism, Peter consults for the likes of UNEP, UNICEF and Amnesty International.
