Nicola Longobardi
Nicola Longobardi is a freelance photographer living in Hong Kong. He began traveling and living in Asia in 2000. Over the years he has made photo shoots for international newspapers and magazines, including The New York Times, The Financial Times, Helsingin Sanomat, Nikkei Asian Review and Harper's magazine. In 2020 the cover of the Nikkei Asian Review with his photos receives a first SOPA Award and an Asian Media Award. In 2019 he received an honorable mention at the Focus on the Story Award and the third ND Award with the reportage Prisoners of Heroin, made in the Kachin state of Myanmar. He is the author of Be Water, Iconografia di una protesta (2020).
