Matt Danzico
Matt Danzico is the founder of NBC Left Field, a new digital video unit in New York City. His team uses creative storytelling to show 'what it’s like' and 'how it feels' in extraordinary or unique circumstances. The troupe of filmmakers and journalists aims to drop viewers into the minds and bodies of others via immersive video techniques. Prior to running NBC Left Field, Danzico spent seven years at BBC News, where he started the company’s first traveling bureau, BBC Pop Up; developed BBC Trending; and helped launch the US edition of the BBC News website. In his free time, Matt can be found sitting on his surfboard in the ocean.
