Marco Nurra is an Italian journalist who works in Madrid. He worked at the Spanish daily El Mundo from 2009 to 2010, for which he continues to write articles. In 2010 he co-founded with Michele Azzu the blog L’Isola dei Cassintegrati to support the workers of the Vinyls company who had taken over the prison of Asinara in Sardinia in protest at losing their jobs. Since November 2012 the blog has been a partner of the Italian weekly L'Espresso. He has written articles for L’Espresso and Il Fatto Quotidiano. He is co-author with Michele Azzu of Asinara Revolution (2011).
