Lydia Lange is the Equal Opportunities Manager and Editor at the Rundfunk Berlin Brandenburg (RBB).
Born in Jülich (near Cologne), she studied German Literature and Theatre Science at the Universities of Cologne and Munich (Degree M.A.) with a journalistic training at Sender Freies Berlin (SFB), the radio corporation of West Berlin. From 1983 to 1995 she worked as an author for different radio programs, from 1995 to 2012 as permanent editor for the daily radio program Zeitpunkte with a focus on gender policy. Since 2012 she has been Equal Opportunities Manager for RBB. The RBB is a public broadcasting service set up in 2003 by the states of Berlin and Brandenburg, with about 1900 employes. The RBB hosts six radio stations, one TV station, and an extensive online portal. Together with the WDR, the RBB is responsible for the ARD television studio in Berlin. About 6 million people in the region can be reached by the programs of the RBB.Events in past editions
