Lisa Kassenaar is a writer and editor who recently worked with Indra Nooyi on her NYT bestselling memoir, My Life in Full. She was previously a senior editor at Voice of America, leading a women’s coverage project for all 45 newsrooms of the U.S. government-funded news operation. She co-created Our Voices, a weekly current affairs program for women in Africa, and led editorial for the VOA’s Worth of a Girl digital initiative on child marriage around the world. In 22 years at Bloomberg News, Lisa was a reporter, editor and senior magazine writer covering Wall Street, and then created and led a global women’s project engaging more than 2500 journalists in 150 news bureaus on how they cover rising female leaders and the role of women in companies, markets and politics. She has a masters in journalism from Northwestern University and business degree from the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg, Canada. Lisa lives in New York City with her husband and two daughters.
