Katie King is Senior Product Manager, Portal & Partnerships at MSN UK in London where she leads the content strategy and commercialization team. Her career in journalism and publishing includes serving as a correspondent for Reuters in Latin America, teaching journalism at George Washington University School of Media and Public Affairs in Washington, D.C., and leading a variety of digital and online news and publishing projects since the mid-1990s. Born and raised in Seattle, Katie has lived, studied, and worked in Spain, Panama, Mexico, Brazil and the UK. She serves on the boards of a number of non-profit journalism and free speech organizations, including the Online News Association, the Nieman Foundation at Harvard University and Index on Censorship in London.
