Kate Gibson is an international criminal lawyer. She has been appearing before international courts since 2005, representing accused from Rwanda, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Cambodia, Sierra Leone and the former Yugoslavia, including former Vice-President of the DRC Jean-Pierre Bemba, former President of Liberia Charles Taylor, former President of the Republika Srpška Radovan Karadžić, and former President of Kosovo Hashim Thaçi. She also represents Rohingya victims in the Bangladesh/Myanmar situation before the ICC and was appointed as a Legal Consultant to the UN Independent International Fact-Finding Mission for Myamnar, in Geneva. She holds an LLM in International Law from Cambridge University, and is an Associate Tenant at Doughty Street Chambers in London.
