John Nery is Associate Editor and Opinion Columnist at the Philippine Daily Inquirer, the largest newspaper in the Philippines; from 2014 to 2017, he also served as editor in chief of its digital affiliate, Inquirer.net, in a concurrent capacity. He represents the Inquirer Group on the executive board of the Asia News Network.
