Jeff Elgie is a pioneer in digital media who has been building and leading businesses in the digital space for over 20 years. He is currently the CEO of Village Media, an ever-expanding network of local news websites that serves markets across three continents, operating on a proprietary convergent local publishing platform developed in-house. Since forming Village Media in 2013, Jeff has grown the company from two small sites in Northern Ontario, Canada, to a network of 60 owned and operated and partner websites, providing community-first reporting to five million weekly readers.
