Janet Mbugua-Ndichu is a Kenyan prime time TV anchor and journalist. She’s also a mentor and judge in the Top Story TV journalism reality show – a national mentorship programme for young journalists. She has regularly covered major news events and interviewed well known public figures across Africa and the world. Janet is passionate about empowering young people, especially girls whom she mentors through her Inua Dada Foundation. Endorsed by the First Lady of Kenya Her Excellency Margaret Kenyatta, the foundation envisions a global community that empowers and protects the rights of every Girl Child. Janet who started her broadcasting career at the age of 19, is currently involved in producing video stories on major social issues in Kenya.
