Giorgia Popermhem was born in New York City where she studied Fine Arts at Fiorello H. Laguardia High School. After moving to Italy in 2010, she lived in Milan for two years before enrolling at the University of Bologna, where she is currently majoring in Communications. Giorgia is currently working as an English teacher at A.L.C.E. Bologna. In the past, she has collaborated with TEDx Bologna. She has a food blog in which she revisits Italian and American cuisine in a modern context, and is aiming towards a career in food and wine management.
