Gianni Pittella
Gianni Pittella is an elected member, with the role of vice president, of the European Parliament for the Partito Democratico. He is also president of the Associazione Prima Persona, co-founder of the Centro Europeo per lo Sviluppo del Mediterraneo Meseuro, president of the members assembly of the Fondazione Mezzogiorno Europa, and a board member of both the Fondazione Italianieuropei and the Fondazione Università Link Campus. He is the author of L'anatra zoppa. L'Europa senza stato, moneta e mercati senza governo dell'economia (2010), co-author with Francesco De Filippo of Sull'orlo del baratro (2010) and co-author with Elido Fazi of Breve storia del futuro degli stati uniti d'Europa (2013).
