Gayatri Parameswaran is an XR creator and award-winning journalist from India who believes in the power of stories to transform. She co-runs an immersive storytelling studio in Berlin called NowHere Media. She has used immersive technologies to explore intimate and taboo topics such as war, peace, intimate partner violence and abortion. Her immersive works have been exhibited at the Venice International Film Festival, SXSW, United Nations, Zentrum für Kunst und Medien, Bergen International Film Festival and beyond. Gayatri is most excited to work with virtual reality as a medium to document different realities.
