Francesco Franchi

Francesco Franchi is an editorial and information visual designer. He has worked since 2008 as art director for IL – Intelligence in lifestyle, the monthly newsmagazine of the Italian daily Il Sole 24 Ore. The magazine has won or been nominated for a host of design awards. Prior to this, he worked for five years as senior designer for Leftloft, a design studio based in Milan and New York. In 2005, he took specialist courses in graphic design in London. In 2007, he completed a masters degree in industrial design at the Politecnico of Milan, graduating with distinction, with a thesis on newspaper design. His work has been published in many international information graphics books and exhibited widely in Italy and abroad.
