Francesca Nava, journalist and documentary director, is the author of award-winning television investigations on Big Pharma, immigration and Islamic radicalization. She worked as a correspondent for Euronews, Mediaset, La7 and Skytg24, covering areas from Turkey to Ukraine, from the United Kingdom to North Africa. She is the director and producer of the independent documentary The Other Mexico. Subcomandante Marcos is back (2007). She created and co-directed the documentary film (produced by Creative Nomads) Terrorists, Zehra and the others (2019) on the repression of the Turkish government. She currently works as a reporter for the Rai3 TV program Mezz’Ora in più focused on national and international politics.
