Flora Graioni is Deputy Director of IREX Europe. She is an experienced international development professional, and in the last 10 years she has been managed media development and civil society projects in different geographical areas (Eastern Europe and CSI, Middle-East and North Africa, Eastern Africa, etc.) funded by different organizations such as the EU, the UK Foreign & Commonwealth Office and UN agencies. She is also involved in partnership development and project design, and in the last few years has developed successful media literacy projects. As IREX Europe Deputy Director she contributes to the organization mission to improve the quality of education, strengthen independent media, foster pluralistic civil society development and reduce conflict.
She holds an MA in Development and International Cooperation from the Faculty of Political Sciences of Bologna University (Italy) and an MA in International Relations from Perugia University (Italy). She is fluent in French, English, Italian and Spanish.
