Eugenio Grosso
Eugenio Grosso is an Italian photojournalist and documentary photographer focusing his work on conflict and social issues. In 2015 he followed the stream of refugees and asylum seekers along the Balkan route from Greece to the ‘Jungle of Calais’, while in 2016 and 2017 he lived in Iraqi Kurdistan during the campaign to liberate the city of Mosul from ISIS occupation. In November 2018 he published his first photo-book Kurdistan Memories (Kehrer Verlag) about his time in Iraqi Kurdistan. His work has been featured in national and international media outlets such as Corriere della Sera, the BBC, CNN, The Washington Post.
