Cynara Vetch
Cynara Vetch is International Project Lead for the Constructive Institute at Aarhus University, Denmark, where she develops international projects and partnerships. The Constructive Institute is an independent centre at the heart of the constructive journalism movement. The institute has the mission of working with reporters and editors to shape a global news culture that is more nuanced, bridge-building and solutions-focussed.
Cynara worked for over a decade in journalism innovation with international news broadcasters including Al Jazeera, BBC and CCTV Africa. She also led media development projects using media programmes to both inform and entertain developing world audiences. In 2014 Cynara co-founded She Shapes The City, a multimedia storytelling platform celebrating the stories and successes of women across the world’s cities.
