Camilla Byk
Camilla Byk co-founded Podium.me in 2012. Her mission is to hear young people represented and respected in the media. The audio platform Podium equips young people aged 16-25 with the skills and opportunities to create podcasts and dramas inspired by their own lives and experiences. The organisation has won awards for its grassroots approach. Camilla studied Italian and French at Siena and Oxford universities and has worked with the BBC as well as educational charities and news organisations. She is a Fellow and former Trustee of The Radio Academy. She was awarded an MBE in the Queen's birthday honours in 2022 for services to young people and broadcast journalism.
