Benazir Karim is the founder and managing director of E-Motion Productions in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania, working with corporates, NGOs and SMEs across Tanzania to deliver a one stop marketing solution, from conceptualization to execution through all forms of multimedia and print.
She is a graduate of Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism & Integrated Marketing. She is also a member of Kappa Tau Alpha Journalism Honor Society and the Society of Professional Journalists. Benazir has a well-rounded career that includes international internships, public service and a multimedia portfolio of self-produced documentaries, news stories and web features. From internships at the Financial Times and AOL Studios in New York to producing news stories for Euro News in France to directing and producing feature documentaries at Qatar Television, Benazir is an experienced director and documentary filmmaker.
