Barbara Mazzolai
Barbara Mazzolai graduated in Biological Sciences from the University of Pisa and received her PhD in Microsystems Engineering at the University of Rome Tor Vergata. She is currently coordinator of the Centre for Micro Bio-Robotics in Pontedera - Italian Institute of Technology, and coordinates the Plantoid project funded by the European Commission for the development of the first robots inspired by plants. In 2015 Robohub listed her among the 25 most brilliant women in robotics.
