Astha Rajvanshi is a staff writer for Time Magazine. Based in London, she writes about international affairs with a focus on human rights. Previously, reported from India as a freelance journalist and a Fellow for the Institute of Current World Affairs. Her writing has appeared in the New Yorker, the BBC, Al Jazeera, WIRED, National Geographic and the New York Times, among other outlets. She received the 2022 Matthew Power Literary Reporting Award from New York University and graduated from Columbia Journalism School’s investigative program.
